- Universal Health care. With so many Americans struggling to have medical insurance I think that it's about time for the government to step in.
- Pull out of Iraq and Afghanistan. At this point the United States should abandon our military involvement in the Middle East. I truly believe that if the military leaves the area then the threat of terrorism will decrease. Go ahead and add stop support of Israel, this has been wrong for a long time but I'll save that for another time.
- Put boatloads of money into renewable energy sources. Hyb
rid cars, solar homes, whatever it makes good sense to do that. It'll help politically and it would help the environment. Maybe pull some money out of the "war on drugs" that is still going on. - Dump funds into education. If knowledge is power and the kids are the future then we need to give them more power to ensure a better future. Maybe stop building prisons and such, that should free up some funds.
- More funding for public access television. The media has become completely focused on the bottomline and doesn't offer much in the way of in depth information. With more money for public access journalism could flourish and offer the masses actual information as opposed to what celebutante went on a coke bender.
